Okay, after I watched this, I checked tweets about it. The general opinion is ‘this is gross’ and ‘those women should not be doing that to their bodies’. My opinion is that you should JUST LET THEM DO WHATEVER THEY WANT. They are happy and proud of the way their bodies look, and you do not have the right to police them and tell them how they should look. Everyone has the right to look however they want, and just because you think it doesn’t cohere to your idea of ‘beauty’ does not mean you can judge them.

Anyway, rant over. NAT OUT

For about a year and a half it’d be pretty standard that I spent atleast ten hours stuck on some dingy, usually overcrowded, horrible national express coach every month travelling up half the country with favourite songs on loop, sometimes wondering why. When Jeffrey Lewis played this live it just really sort of hit me. I don’t know. Yeah. Alot of his songs do that, though.
